Importance
Proper patient presentation is essential for communicating patient progress with the entire medical team and dictating the patient encounter either on paper or electronic record
Professionalism
Confirm appropriate attire (Scrubs, lab coat, etc)
Arrive at or before the designated time
Be mindful of the institutional rules and do not approach patients if you are instructed to avoid direct contact
